  • Simultaneous engineering

MandoBrose works in close cooperation with both, customers and suppliers. This makes sure that our product performance meets customer needs technically as well as commercially.
Gate reviews make sure that processes are on track.

  • Design

MandoBrose designs their brushless electric motors in-house (CATIA). Specific topics, e.g. parameter optimization, are investigated by co-working with Brose in Germany. Automotive design methodology data such as FMEA, lessons learned or benchmarking results are shared with Brose’s global network.

  • Simulation

Prior to building hardware samples, MandoBrose is running their first motor performance optimization loops virtually. Further development of simulation tools allow not only performance evaluation but also more complex investigations, e.g. vibration analysis, based on FEA calculations.

  • Prototype build

MandoBrose builds motor prototypes for any development stage in-house. Wherever possible mass production technology is applied during the sample build process. It helps to understand every process step from the very beginning and ensures lessons learned from the sample built are transferred into mass production.

  • Sensor design & validation

MandoBrose designs, and validates sensor application for brushless motor.

  • Performance test

After sample build up, MandoBrose investigates the motor performance on component level as well as in the system environment.
To be independent from the system-ECU a dSpace controller is available to control the brushless motor for performance checks.

  • Environmental test

To satisfy our customer needs and make best product without any quality issues, MandoBrose performs a long list of environmental tests; e.g. vibration test, thermal shock test and environmental durability test just to name a few.

  • Optimization

MandoBrose is continuously working on analyzing and fine tuning the vibration of their motors on component and on system level. For these NVH tests (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) an own anechoic room with relevant acoustic analysis tools is installed in MandoBrose.
