Mando Brose held 2018 Family Day at
Seonhak Field HockeyStadiumon October 20 with nearly 260 employees
and their family members attending the event.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Before the event began representatives
of employees took the oath and Mr. Sang-Yeol Lee, CEO, delivered an opening
address. A variety of games and attractions were available for both employees
and their family to enjoy and it was a great opportunity to harmonize and
communicate with each other. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
In Mr. Sang-Yeol Lee’s closing speech,
he said, “It was such a great day to have an outdoor event. I hope it was a day
for everybody to share, sympathize and harmonize together.” He also added, “I
want you to work while you work and play while you play. And always live with
your dreams and hopes.”<o:p></o:p>

The event was ended very successful with
all of the employees including officers actively participating. After the
event, employees commented, “It was a great event to bring everyone into
harmony and encourage loyalty to the company.” <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
One of the employees commented, “It is a
meaningful event where employees and their family can enjoy the day together in
the open air.” The event certainly provided an opportunity to bring everyone
into harmony and made them to pledge to come together for the success of the
company.<o:p></o:p>

Team also commented, “We hope today’s event gave an opportunity to get recharged
and to encourage each other outside of busy workplace. We plan to implement
various programs to harmonize employees and to boost employee morale.”<o:p></o:p>

Mando Brose welcomed Mr. Chistian Hirte,
Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and
Energy and 6 guests including Mr. Weert Börner, the Deputy Head of
Mission of GermanEmbassySeoul for their visit
to MBCo Songdo plant on August 7.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
The meeting started by introducing Mando Brose, Halla
Group, Mando and Brose and followed by sharing the vision and prospects as a
joint venture company between Korea and Germany. After
the presentation, a short plant tour of the proto & testing shop and
production line was followed and the guests had a chance to establish a better
understanding of MBCo’s products.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
In the wrap-up meeting, Mr. Sang-Yeol
Lee said, “based on the dynamic nature of Korea and the craftsmanship of
Germany, we will do our best to lead the successful joint venture company and
contribute to the economic development of both Korea and Germany.”<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Mr. Hirte replied, “It was a great
opportunity to understand how the Korean-German joint venture company operates.
I am delighted to see that the two sides are working in good coordination and
wish Mando Brose goes from strength to strength in the wider market place.”<o:p></o:p>

On February 27, Mando Brose invited
suppliers to its annual Supplier's Day event to strengthen partnership through
improving understanding and encouraging mutual growth. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
With executives of Mando Brose and 50 guests
from 31 suppliers attending the event, Mando Brose shared its current
management status, business plan and China localization status and held Q&A
session to communicate with suppliers. The event was followed by awarding the
Supplier of the Year and Top Quality Supplier of 2017 to thank them for their
hard work. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
During the event, Mr. Sang-Yeol Lee, CEO
of Mando Brose, said, “It is not easy to survive in a period of intense
competition in which we must seek opportunities in an unpredictable crisis. In
order to seek those opportunities, we must ask whether we are sharing and
implementing clear goals, using resources properly, and always keeping global
competitiveness in mind. Above all, only the companies that constantly innovate
through the fundamentals can survive and gain the trust of customers."<o:p></o:p>

After the event, the participants
commented, “It was a great opportunity to enhance mutual understanding and
trust with each other. The event provided us to recall our partnership with
Mando Brose and to check mutual growth and sustainability.”<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Like the saying, “Setting clear goals is
a shortcut to success”, Mando Brose will set the clear goals and pursue them by
strengthening continuous cooperation and communication with suppliers in order
to achieve future vision together.<o:p></o:p>

MBCo held an annual hiking event on January 6 at
Cheongryang Mountain in Incheon and about 120 employees attended the event to
kickofftheNew Year.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>Before the hiking began, Mr. Sang-Yeol Lee said, “Your indomitablewill, passion, and
challenging spirit are what drew the footsteps
of MBCo’s journey. 2018 already is projected to be a difficult year
ahead. Nevertheless, if we work together as one, we can overcome any adversity
lies ahead.”<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>The hiking began shortly after Mr. Lee’s greeting and warm-up
exercise. Along the way, everybody chatted with each other and enjoyed the time
together. Once everybody arrived at the top, MBCo’s 2018 slogan “Challenge
& Success” was shouted out loud and everyone encouraged each other to wish
a good year.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>2017 was by no means an easy year for us, but new sun
has risen for us to start fresh again. We hope that this year will be a year in
which MBCo can once again prove itself to the world, to show that we can stand
firm and united, with the common goal of achieving success.<o:p></o:p>

The 2017 New Year Kick-Off Ceremony was held at MBCo
Education Hall on January 3. <o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>The ceremony began with New Year’s address by Mr. Sang-Yeol
Lee which he began by thanking the employees for all their efforts and hard
work in the past year.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>In Mr. Lee’s Address, he mentioned that 2017 was not an
easy year for MBCo, but it was a meaningful year in which we reconfirmed our qualities:
indomitablewill, passion, and challenge spirit.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>Most particularly, it is important for us to look back
our ‘basis’ and ‘roots’ which may have become blurry over the years. Also, your
original intention will be the basis to make us confident and strong when
undergoing various hardships. I urge you to never forget the original intention
you had in your mind when you joined MBCo, he said.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>Lastly, he announced the 2018 management policy,
“Strengthening of Management Fundamentals” and suggested several tasks that
will help MBCo to achieve the management goals in 2018 which are [Basic
Compliance], [Sustainable Growth], [Open Management].<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>At the end of his Address he said, “2018 is projected
to be a difficult year ahead. However, we will continue to move forward even in
the toughest moments. Your indomitablewill, passion, and challenging
spirit that you have been showing since the establishment of this company will
carry us forward.” <o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>MBCo employees’ doggedness and a sense of urgency to
turn challenge into success are what drew the footsteps of MBCo’s journey. In
2018, we hope that we once again prove ourselves to the world, to show that we
can stand firm and united, with the common goal of achieving success.<o:p></o:p>
